About the project
The architectural concept was developed by the Pritzker Prize winners Herzog & de Meuron and involves the rise of new construction in the form of two floating houses -"ribbons" on 35-meter columns with a diameter of only 92 cm.
This solution will allow to preserve the visual permeability of cultural heritage sites, create a large-scale park in the Russian forest concept and place the first residential floor at the height of the 10th floor of an ordinary house. In total, 188 columns will be installed according to the project - each of them will be able to withstand the load in 3,000 tons, which is 800 tons more than the basic needs of buildings. The historical buildings will house the infrastructure of the complex: a farmer's market, cafes and restaurants, a wellness complex, a children's leisure center, a fitness club with a panoramic pool, sports sections, and a coworking.
